one generation awayChrist the King Parish will host a free screening of One Generation Away – a documentary film that asks hard questions about the status of religious liberty in America today. Please join Des Moines area clergy, parishioners of Christ the King Parish, the general public, and EchoLights’ CEO Rick Santorum to watch this film followed by a Q & A discussion.

One Generation Away travels the United States (and Europe) in search of a deeper understanding of the religious freedom clauses in the Constitution’s First Amendment. From Hobby Lobby to the Mt. Soledad Cross in San Diego to wedding service providers in the Northwest, One Generation Away asks hard questions about the status of religious liberty in America today. Our “first freedom”—religious liberty—is one that demands attention at this critical point in American history.

Produced by EchoLight Studios, the film features interviews with Mike Huckabee, Rick Santorum, Bonhoeffer biographer Eric Metaxas, Tony Perkins of the Family Research Council , Harry Jackson, Tim Wildmon, Alveda King, Robert George, Russell Moore of the Southern Baptist Convention, Eric Teetsel of the Manhattan Declaration, and Ryan Anderson and Jennifer Marshall of the Heritage Foundation among others.
