Iowa Bus Tour Defends Rights and Freedoms


The FAMiLY LEADER is cosponsoring a whistlestop statewide bus tour with Faith Family Freedom Fund, an affiliate of FRC Action PAC and the National Organization for Marriage that will begin Monday, October 13 at 9:00 AM in Des Moines. The tour, Standing for the American Family, will travel around the state from October 13th-16th with speakers to include Rep. Steve King, Bob Vander Plaats, and other conservative leaders. Just in time for the midterm elections, the bus tour will kick off at the West Capitol Terrace of the Iowa State Capitol before continuing to the next series of stops.

Bob Vander Plaats, President & CEO of The FAMILY LEADER, will be speaking at the stop on Monday, October 13 at the Iowa State Capitol, all the stops on Tuesday, October 14, and also on Thursday, October 16th at the Sioux City stop. Danny Carroll, Chairman of The FAMiLY LEADER’s ambassador network is scheduled to speak at all stops on Wednesday, October 14.

Bob Vander Plaats, President & CEO of The FAMiLY LEADER, said, “We are thrilled to be partnering with the Family Research Council on this bus tour and are looking forward to energizing voters and meeting Iowans all across the state.”
