Irrational Justice

Irrational Justice

This morning, Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy put a temporary stay on an appeals court ruling that declared gay marriage legal in Idaho and Nevada, just 10 minutes before the state officials would have been begun issuing the marriage licenses.

TFL applauds Justice Kennedy’s stay, but has no confidence that he, or any judges who have his judicial philosophy ( ), will ultimately do “justice”—whether deciding what marriage is/isn’t, or defending innocent babies from being killed by abortion( see Kennedy’s bizarre and deadly opinion in Planned Parenthood v. Casey), or defending our 2nd Amendment from gun-grabbers, etc., ad nauseum…

Justice is rooted in God’s very Nature. Our Founders recognized this CRITICAL linkage when they started our nation by signing the Declaration of Independence. That legal document rooted all our nation’s laws in “…the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God…”

“Justice” Kennedy and Co. have now untethered all our nation’s laws from that sure anchor, so that “every man (and woman and child) does that which is right in their own eyes.” (Judges 21:25.) We can have no moral cohesion, we can have no NATION for long, when we are so chaotically untethered to any sure legal standard. Thanks, “Justice” Kennedy, for today’s “right side of the bed” court opinion; what will you serve up tomorrow, or the next day, when you get out of bed on the other side?

Judges are using their power to force America into whatever immoral mold they want, like allowing males to use girls’ bathrooms ( and overturning laws that would have protected children from hardcore pornography (

While we decry the Judges’ irrational inconsistencies, we also recognize the pulse of “We the People,” who are seeing the threat that judges pose to America. Americans are seeing this for what is really is, and Americans will right this ship!
