1. Defunding abortion is on the table
Congress is considering a budget that would strip Planned Parenthood of $700 million in annual taxpayer funding. Planned Parenthood not only kills over 300,000 children per year, but also pushes the transgender agenda and spent $70 million trying to defeat Trump. For Speaker Mike Johnson, this should be an easy decision.
2. It makes no sense to be an abortion ‘moderate’
There’s no win for Republican candidates in running from a pro-life position. Rather, defunding Planned Parenthood would fire up the base for the mid-terms. Besides, if Planned Parenthood is going to spend all this money on defeating you, why not own it and rally your base to victory?
3. Democrat challenger enters the ring in Iowa
Iowa’s exemplary governor is not running for re-election, and the top challenger for her office is formidable. Pay attention to this race. It will go national. And it’s a must-win to keep Iowa true to godly principles and to preserve the state as a shining light to the rest of the country.
