Iowa Choose exists so voters can think clearly about the kind of leadership Iowa needs and then act on it. Information without a ballot is unfinished work.
We inform so you can discern. We equip so you can vote. Ask better questions, then make a clear choice.
What is
Iowa Choose?
Rather than talking about Iowa politics in the abstract, Iowa Choose looks outward. We examine how governors in other states are leading, what has worked, what has failed, and what lessons Iowa voters should consider as they evaluate candidates for governor.
At its core, Iowa Choose is about discernment. It is about learning from real-world leadership examples so voters can make informed decisions rooted in truth, responsibility, and long-term impact.

ON THE BALLOT
Iowa has made real gains for life, parents, and religious liberty. Those gains hold only if voters choose leaders who will defend them. The next governor will appoint, sign, veto, and set the tone for what Iowa protects next.
Family.
God designed the family as the first institution of a healthy society. Policies either strengthen mothers, fathers, and children or weaken them. Foster care, marriage, and the freedom of churches and ministries to serve families are not side issues. They are the work.
Life.
Every human life has immeasurable worth from conception to natural death. Iowa has moved to protect preborn children and support mothers. That direction can be kept or reversed. Voters decide which way the state goes.
Education.
Parents, not the state, bear first responsibility for their children. School choice and Education Savings Accounts gave Iowa families more freedom than they have ever had. What was won at the ballot box can be lost there too.
Religious liberty.
People of faith should be free to live, work, and serve without government punishment. Businesses, churches, and families need leaders who will guard that freedom, not chip away at it.
Leadership.
Government is one of God’s institutions. The people who hold office either honor that calling or they do not. Character, courage, and conviction in the governor’s office will shape Iowa long after one news cycle ends.
This is why Iowa Choose exists. Study the record. Weigh the values. Then vote. Discernment that never reaches the ballot leaves the future of Iowa families to someone else.
