The Time is Now
Every year, $700 million in taxpayer dollars flows to the nation’s largest abortion provider—fueling the deaths of 400,000 unborn children and promoting radical gender ideology.
The FAMiLY Leader is calling on Congress and the Office of Management and Budget to immediately defund Planned Parenthood—and we need your support.
“Defund Planned Parenthood NOW. The pro-life movement won’t accept anything less.”
— Bob Vander Plaats, President & CEO of The FAMiLY Leader

The Mandate is Clear
The FAMiLY Leader, alongside a coalition of conservative organizations, is demanding an end to taxpayer-funded abortion. We are urging OMB Director Russ Vought and key leaders in Congress to cut all federal funding to Planned Parenthood immediately.
This is not healthcare—this is ideological profiteering at the expense of unborn children.
- We stand for life.
- We stand for families.
- We stand for bold, decisive action.
Will you stand with us?
Iowa: A National Leader in Pro-Life Policy
Iowa has become a national model for pro-life legislation, passing key measures that protect the unborn. In 2018, Iowa passed a pioneering pro-life bill that led to overturning Roe v. Wade. And in 2023, after years of battling the courts, Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds signed the Heartbeat Bill into law at The FAMiLY Leadership Summit to honor the faithful work of church leaders and legislators to protect life.
Today, Iowa’s U.S. Sen. Joni Ernst has introduced legislation to federally defund Planned Parenthood and ensure accurate abortion reporting nationwide. This bill aligns with The FAMiLY Leader’s mission to redirect taxpayer dollars to comprehensive healthcare providers that do not perform abortions.
This is our moment. Let’s build momentum and make history.
